Dow and Modern Water Inc. announced a strategic partnership whereby Modern Water becomes a global distributor of Dow Optidose and Accent traceable test kits. The collaboration will expand Dow’s reach and offer customers direct access to the kit manufacturer and its monitoring capabilities. The traceable polymer system provides operational insight for service companies and address needs in the industrial water treatment industry.

Optidose and Accent polymers consist of permanent tags incorporated into the backbone of the molecule. The tag allows immunoassay reagents to specifically identify the polymers at ppm concentrations with minimal interference from other treatment components or contaminants.
