Stellar won a Pyramid Award for its design and construction of the U.S. Cold Storage food distribution facility in Laredo, Texas. The $35 million project was completed on an eight-month schedule driven by the timing of the Mexican strawberry harvest. The 232,366 ft² warehouse includes a -10°F freezer area, a 35°F cooler area and a refrigerated loading dock with 21 truck doors.

Stellar, in total, received three Excellence in Construction Awards from the Florida First Coast Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Winners were recognized August 23 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. ABC's Excellence in Construction program recognizes outstanding construction projects in a range of categories.
