A certificate course offered by the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) will provide background for performing a process hazard analysis (PHA) study that not only meets OSHA and EPA requirements, but also serves as an effective tool for ensuring safe operation of a closed-circuit ammonia refrigeration system.

The course is intended to serve as continuing education for industrial refrigeration professionals whose job responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment and/or ensuring compliance with OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) regulation or the EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) rule. The intended audience would include PSM coordinators/managers, process safety and hazard mitigation professionals, compliance service employees and compliance auditors.
