Company Buys Land for Cold Storage Expansion
Kenyon Zero Storage purchased 21 acres from the Port of Pasco for approximately $1.1 million to expand its cold storage capacity at the Foster Wells Business Park in Pasco, Wash. The company plans to build a 202,000 ft2 facility, with construction to begin in the spring, which will complement its nearby 410,000 ft2 facility.
Kenyon Zero’s facilities have the capability to freeze and/or refrigerate products and are equipped with bulk storage and racking to meet clients’ needs.
According to the company, one of the deciding factors in constructing its cold storage facilities at the Port property was the proximity to the many existing food processors at the Pasco Processing Center and the ease of access to major transportation routes to the Pacific Northwest.
