According to a report, A M King completed renovation of an 88,000 ft2 facility that houses Southern Foods’ meat, seafood and cheese processing operations.
The seafood, premium meats, artisanal cheese and local specialty goods supplier needed a space that combined cold and dry storage for distribution; refrigerated food processing spaces; and a large area for a test kitchen and walk-up market. The scope of work provided by A M King included approximately 13,500 ft2 of food processing areas, 11,585 ft2 of freezers and 11,429 ft2 of coolers/dock.
