Trammell Crow Co. completed construction of the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s corporate headquarters and distribution facility in East Point, Ga. It includes 69,931 ft2 of cold storage and 186,157 ft2 of warehouse space.
The headquarters sits on 65 acres of land and includes high-efficiency LED lighting and low space temperature heating for warehouse areas. The Food Bank will begin operations at the property this month.
Atlanta Community Food Bank distributed 71.7 million pounds of food and grocery products in fiscal year 2018-2019, and 22 percent of those food and grocery items distributed included fresh produce.
