A provider of circulating liquid temperature control systems partnered with multinational medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to provide temperature control solutions for critical processes in the development of essential medical aid.

Temperature control systems maker Mokon, based in Buffalo, N.Y., also is participating with companies directly involved with “Operation Warp Speed.” The federal initiative focuses on facilitating and accelerating the development, manufacture and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics.

Pura-Therm and other systems control temperatures for vaccine and medicine production by utilizing vessels, mixers, fermenters, bioreactors and a range of packaging equipment. Depending on the application, Mokon water, chiller or combination heating/chilling systems send heated or chilled fluid through a jacketed wall or heat exchanger to control the temperature of the materials being processed.
