A company better known for its pneumatic and vacuum tools and equipment, Atlas Copco developed and released its first process chiller range in the United States. The chillers are designed for cooling water, or a mixture of water and glycol, for industrial processes including food and beverage, medical and pharmaceutical, plastics and machine cooling.

According to the company, the TCX Series’ all-in-one water chiller has an air-cooled condenser and integrated hydro module. The design of the chillers’ microchannel condensers requires 30 percent less refrigerant, says Atlas Copco, making the units environmentally friendly while lowering potential maintenance charges over the life of the chiller.
