According to a report, a real estate development company is preparing to build four cold-storage facilities. Greenville, S.C.-based RealtyLink announced plans to build facilities in Wilmington, N.C.; Mobile, Ala.; Charleston, S.C. and Houston.

RealtyLink will invest $40 million to develop a facility with up to 200,000 ft² freezer/cooler storage space in Wilmington, according to the report, and the facility will be expandable up to 400,000 ft².

The Wilmington business location is scheduled to be operating by summer 2022.
