Advanced Material Processing has formed AMP Thermal Process Group. The new division will draw on existing products and solutions from sister companies Marion Process Solutions and Kason Corp, according to AMP.

Milburn, N.J.-based Kason produces vibratory fluid-bed coolers and dryers that use a circular processing unit to cool, dry or moisturize bulk chemicals, plastics, foods, dairy products, pharmaceuticals and other materials. Marion supplies the WaveMix line, which is a combination of microware, vacuum and mixing technology that provides low temperature, low moisture drying. The Marion, Iowa-based company also offers customizable vacuum reactors for low impact drying of sensitive materials through vacuum processing jacketed mixers.

AMP Thermal Process Group will act as an engineering consultant for companies in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, plastics, hemp and general heat transfer industries.
