Compressors Offer Higher Saturated Suction Temperature Range

The capabilities of Turbocor TTS and TGS include a higher saturated suction temperature (SST) operating range. The company expects this feature to help OEMs utilize oil-free compressor technology to data centers operating at higher temperatures. Available on compressors designed for air- and water-cooled chillers, the high SST option enables select models to generate leaving water temperatures as high as 82°F, reducing compressor load and power consumption. The compressors can be restarted quickly after a power outage and require a low startup current.
