Chemical Manufacturer Expands Facility, Replaces Boiler

ProChemTech International Inc. completed an expansion of its Chemical Plant #1 In Brockway, Pa. The chemical manufacturer also replaced an old process boiler with a high efficiency unit.

The expansion added a 4,000 ft² steel-framed high bay with a truck dock capable of handling a tanker and tractor trailer at once as well as a 400 ft² code-compliant boiler room. The increased floor space will be utilized for raw material and finished product storage, according to the company. Future plans include relocation of the silicate production line from its current location into a contained area within the expansion.

ProChemTech has its main office, laboratory and equipment and chemical manufacturing facility located in Brockway. A second chemical manufacturing facility and service center is located in Apache Junction, Ariz.
