Danfoss broke ground on a new facility in Tallahassee, Fla. The 167,000 ft2 building, scheduled for completion in early 2023, will house manufacturing for its Turbocor compressors.

The VTX line and two TT/TG lines will be produced in the facility. It is expected to triple the company’s current manufacturing capacity to meet demand from the American, European and Asian Pacific markets for high efficiency compressors.

Once manufacturing operations are moved to the new building, Danfoss’ existing 70,000 ft2 building will be converted to an Oil-Free Technology Center, housing research and development activities, including pilot productions of new cooling technologies and services.
