The 2021 RETA National Conference will cover a range of topics for professional development of industrial refrigeration operators and technicians.
Held November 9-11 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Ill., the conference includes hands-on training, workshops, technical presentations, networking events and an exhibit hall. Technical topics include developing standard operating procedures (SOPs); best practices for minimizing ammonia system hazards; risk-based inspections; screw compressors; troubleshooting CO2 refrigeration systems; applying IIAR 6; and ASME B31.5 and piping stress analysis in refrigeration systems.
In addition to the conference program during the expo, RETA will offer CARO, CIRO, CRST or CRES review courses on November 6-8. Attendees in these courses can complete the certification testing exam during the RETA conference. RETA certification exams are accredited by American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Companies serving the industrial refrigeration market will exhibit equipment and services during the three-day expo. The expo hall will serve as the site of RETA continental breakfasts, evening receptions and lunches as well.
