A new facility equipped for training, repair and calibration services is expected to help Endress+Hauser, Greenwood, Ind., provide instrumentation, services and automation solutions to its customers in the Gulf region.
The $34 million, 112,000 ft2 “Houston Campus,” located in Pearland, Texas, will serve as a base of operations for the instrumentation maker’s support teams, including inside sales and application engineering teams, as they provide localized technical expertise to customers. Among the facility features is a process training unit (PTU), where customers can learn about the company’s IIoT capabilities and Bluetooth-enabled devices.
The facility is equipped to perform accredited instrument calibration for temperature, flow, level and pressure. Accredited calibrations can be performed in both Endress+Hauser’s Houston-area laboratory and at customer sites with a mobile calibration rig.
The global marketing and applications group for SpectraSensors’ gas analysis business and Analytik Jena’s product lines for laboratory instrumentation also will work from the Pearland offices.
