The College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will host a course, “Ammonia Refrigeration System Safety,” April 6-8. This course will teach attendees how to utilize ammonia refrigeration while ensuring safety and preventing future risks.

Experts of the U.S. Department of Labor and Environmental Protection Agency will help assure students have a thorough understanding of regulations related to ammonia refrigeration systems. Attendees will also learn best practices for ammonia system operation and how to avoid operational risks.
