Cold-Storage Provider Expands in Guatemala

Emergent Cold Latin America added more than 5,000 frozen pallet positions in its headquarters in Palin, Guatemala.

The facility includes cold-storage rooms and an area dedicated to value-added services. The expansion expands capacity for frozen products to 16,000 frozen pallet positions at the facility. According to Emergent Cold Latin America, it is now the biggest cold-storage facility in Guatemala for controlled-temperature storage services.

Emergent Cold currently has three facilities in Guatemala (Palin, Xela and Villanueva). They have a combined storage capacity for over 20,000 pallet positions.
