Johnson Controls is celebrating 125 years of its Sabroe brand as a supplier of industrial refrigeration systems in Denmark and globally in 2022. The company was founded by engineer Thomas Ths. Sabroe in 1897 in Aarhus.

Sabroe products include compressors, chillers and heat pumps that support industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to energy infrastructure, as well as food and beverage and automotive. The sports and entertainment industries also use Sabroe’s cooling systems in stadiums, ice rinks and bobsleigh runs.
