Netherlands-based NewCold will open a cold-storage distribution facility in McDonough, Ga. The $333 million investment will create 170 jobs.
According to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, it is the largest company investment in Henry County ever. The facility will be automated with robotics. NewCold has U.S. headquarters in Chicago and operates warehouses in Tacoma, Wash.; Burley, Idaho; and a facility currently under development in Lebanon, Ind.
