Ammonia Leak at Food Processing Facility Kills One, Sends One to Hospital

A man was killed and another sent to the hospital after an ammonia leak at a food processing facility in Norwood, Mass., in December 2022.
According to a report, the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services classified the event as a Tier 2 Hazmat incident and confirmed it had deployed crews to support the Norwood Fire Department and hazmat technicians.
