Manufactured of extra-thick fiberglass to provide low maintenance performance, fiberglass cooling towers are supplied fully assembled on a structural steel, integral base to ease installation. Features include fiberglass-reinforced polyester casings, high efficiency PVC fill, standard NEMA frame TEFC motors and low speed propeller fans. A UV inhibitor is added to the gel coat that is applied to the water basin to eliminate fiberglass deterioration and pigment fade.
