Hands-on sessions, workshops, technical presentations, manufacturer sessions, and 13 hours of exhibition hall time are among the highlights of the conference program planned for the 2019 RETA Conference. The 3.5-day conference, planned for October 8-11 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, is reportedly the largest gathering of refrigerating engineers and technicians that offers the length of educational and networking activities and events.
The RETA 2019 Technical Conference Committee is sponsoring a Call for Abstracts relating to industrial refrigeration. The deadline is Thursday, February 28. All authors will receive electronic notification indicating acceptance or rejection of the submitted abstract in late March.
A refrigeration review course hosted by Industrial Consultants has been scheduled in conjunction with both the 2019 DFW Ammonia Refrigeration Regional Conference and the 2019 Central Florida Ammonia Refrigeration Conference.
We have been busy over here at RETA HQ planning for this year’s National Conference, taking place September 26-29 in Hershey, Pa. It’s turning into a great program.
Refrigeration operators and engineers who are also members of Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) can access the organization’s new career center.
Industrial refrigeration education is front and center at the annual meeting of the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association. Show visitors who attend the conference program and refrigeration review course can earn up to 28 PDHs while those attending just the conference program can earn up to 15 PDH. Professional development hours earned at the RETA conference can be applied toward CIRO, CARO, CRES and RAI certification maintenance.
In October, many people involved with industrial refrigeration will head to Las Vegas for the annual conference of the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association. While I am sure that some attendees will hit the slots and tables, there’ll be no gambling with RETA.
