Jones County Junior College (JCJC), Ellisville, Miss., will expand its heating and air conditioning program to include ammonia refrigeration training, thanks to a new partnership with Wagner-Meinert LLC. The Ft. Wayne, Ind.-based company alsowill establish a certified RETA testing center to ensure industrial ammonia refrigeration operators/technicians in the region can stay in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
We have been busy over here at RETA HQ planning for this year’s National Conference, taking place September 26-29 in Hershey, Pa. It’s turning into a great program.
Industrial refrigeration education is front and center at the annual meeting of the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association. Show visitors who attend the conference program and refrigeration review course can earn up to 28 PDHs while those attending just the conference program can earn up to 15 PDH.
