Piovan Group completed its acquisition of IPEG Inc., which is comprised of Conair, Thermal Care, Pelletron and Republic Machine. IPEG is a Delaware-based company active in industrial automation for industrial chiller manufacturing. Thermal Care manufactures industrial water chillers and process cooling equipment. Conair manufactures a range of dryers, process heaters and chillers.

RLS Logistics added two companies to the RLS network of cold-chain solution providers: Hutt Trucking and Logistics of Holland, Mich., and Performance Cold Storage of Salt Lake City, Utah. The companies will be known as RLS Hutt and RLS Performance.

Tippmann Innovation (Ti Cold) is working with Investex Ltd. to build a cold-storage facility in Round Rock, Texas. Triple Temp Cold Storage will include 25,000 pallet positions.

Artico Cold Management will invest $30 million to locate the first in its chain of refrigerated warehouses in Las Cruces, N.M. The project is expected to create 60 jobs, according to a report.

Cold Creek Solutions (CCS) broke ground on a 300,500 ft² cold-storage facility in San Antonio, Texas. It will provide storage for 45,000 pallets of frozen or refrigerated products upon completion.

Art Mulder & Sons Trucking will invest $31 million in a 147,000 ft² expansion in Holland, Mich., that will include freezer and cooler warehouse storage, refrigerated dock space and capacity for food processing. The project will create up to 55 new jobs.

A M King completed construction of a south Texas distribution center for Mexico-based GAB Operations LLC (GAB). The 45,590 ft² facility will provide increased cold-storage capacity for fresh produce and serve as a hub for the company’s U.S. and Canadian customers.

Lineage Logistics LLC acquired Van Tuyl Logistics, H&S Coldstores and Frigocare Rotterdam BV. These transactions will grow the company’s presence in the Netherlands by more than 8.8 million ft³ (250,000 m³) of cold-storage capacity.
